To Many Lands ©Hilary Goldstein 2015
I have wandered
many days to many lands
Through the
looking glass just to see
The starlight
crumble in my hands
And through
penciled lines and papered plans
Although I used
to agree
I have wandered
many days to many lands
Through streams
and grassy strands
The rays would
come to me
I have watched
the starlight crumble in my hands
And the birds
flying on the waves of fans
Would travel
alongside of me
I have wandered
many days to many lands
So as I passed
each human and each towering man
Through the fields
of velvet green
I have watched
the starlight crumble in my hands
My plans once robust
and grand
Each aware of
what they could be
I have wandered
many days to many lands
I have watched
the starlight crumble in my hands
